This fully guided tour includes round-trip transportation from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, with two nights' accommodation in Amman and Wadi Rum. Daily departures are available from both cities.
Petra, Wadi Rum & Highlights of Jordan – 3 Day Tour Highlights
* Embark on a three-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, crossing into Jordan via the Bet Shean Border (Sheikh Hussein), where visas are issued at the border.
* Explore Jerash, an ancient Roman city and part of the Graeco-Roman Decapolis. Well-preserved thanks to centuries of being buried in sand, its colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas, and arches are in exceptional condition.
* Discover Amman, Jordan’s sprawling capital, historically known as Rabbat Ammoun, with roots stretching back thousands of years.
* Tour Madaba, renowned for its Byzantine mosaics, including the famous mosaic map of The Holy Land.
* Visit Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land after 40 years of wandering in the desert. (Note: Time permitting, not available from November to March due to early sunsets.).
* Journey south to Wadi Rum, a stunning desert landscape, and enjoy a fully guided 4x4 Jeep Safari.
* Stay overnight in Wadi Rum, in a deluxe Bubble with modern amenities including a bed, private bathroom, electricity, heating, and air conditioning.
* Tour Petra, the two-thousand-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its iconic highlights, and visit less-traveled parts of the city that most tourists miss due to time constraints.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Sheikh Hussein, Jerash, Amman
05:30 – Pick up from Tel Aviv
06:30 – Pick up from Jerusalem
08:30 – Cross the Sheikh Hussein border into Jordan
10:00 – Begin your journey with a guided tour of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities outside Italy, and part of the ancient Graeco-Roman Decapolis. Explore its colonnaded streets, theaters, plazas, and arches.
12:00 – Continue to Amman, Jordan’s vibrant capital. Visit the Citadel, Roman ruins, Roman Theater, and pass by the King Abdullah Mosque (outside visit).
17:00 – After a full day of exploration, relax at your hotel and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure. Overnight in Amman.
Day 2: Mount Nebo, Madaba, Wadi Rum
08:00 – Begin your day at Mount Nebo, the traditional burial site of Moses. Take in breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Jericho from this historic mountain.
10:00 – Continue to Madaba, renowned for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Visit the iconic St. George Church, home to the famous Mosaic Map of Jerusalem, beautifully laid out on the church floor.
12:00 – Head towards Wadi Rum and embark on a thrilling 4x4 Jeep tour through its stunning desert landscapes.
18:00 – Arrive at the Bedouin campsite in Wadi Rum, where you'll enjoy a traditional dinner in this serene desert setting.
20:00 – Overnight in Wadi Rum.
Optional: Stargazing under the desert sky or a sunset camel ride.
Day 3: Petra
Optional: Early morning camel ride at sunrise.
08:00 – Enjoy breakfast at the campsite while taking in the beautiful morning skies of Wadi Rum.
11:00 – Enter the magnificent ancient city of Petra, a two-thousand-year-old UNESCO World Heritage site.
Explore its iconic landmarks and discover lesser-known areas that most tourists miss due to time constraints.
Free Time: Enjoy time to explore Petra at your own pace (time permitting).
16:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant.
18:00 – Cross back into Israel and head back to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv.
00:30 – Arrive in Jerusalem.
01:30 – Arrive in Tel Aviv.
