Mosaic Centre is a non-governmental association that merges mosaic craftsmanship with ethical and social values. It currently employs 25 young people, predominantly women.
Workshop in Bethlehem
In Bethlehem, a new mosaic laboratory has been established along Star Street, one of the oldest commercial streets in the city’s Old City, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside the Church of the Nativity. Here, young artisans create mosaics inspired by the city’s spirituality and key attractions.
Workshop in Jericho
The main mosaic laboratory is located in Jericho, near Wadi Qelt. Mosaics are produced here inspired by ancient designs and contemporary artworks, blending traditional techniques with modern creativity. Hand-cut Holy Land stones and glass paste are used. Visitors are welcome to see the mosaic display in the beautiful garden.
